Once a private family estate, McCallum Residence® has only recently opened its doors, offering a rare glimpse into one of New Zealand’s most exclusive coastal hideaways.


Day 1: Welcome
Your journey begins at McCallum Residence®, a once-private coastal estate overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. Settle into seaside luxury before an evening of sparkling wine, seafood canapés, and stories shared around the table with a very special Q and A withCuisine’s Kelli Brett and chef Martin Bosley followed by an indulgent seafood dinner. End the evening however you wish, lingering over a final glass, or retreating to your suite to rest for the adventures to come.

Day 2: From Tide To Table
Wake to the hush of the coast before venturing to Clevedon’s famed oyster farm for a private harvest and tasting. Return to McCallum Residence® for a leisurely lunch, then dine on a seafood feast curated by Martin Bosley, with Méthode Marlborough pairings and a whisky tasting to close the night.

Day 3: From Crayfish To Culinary Mastery
Begin your last day with a hands-on crayfish masterclass led by Martin Bosley, crafting the ultimate seafood indulgence. The weekend concludes with a shared farewell feast - a toast to new friends, unforgettable flavours, and memories made by the sea.

We’ve made it simple to secure your place at the table with an easy, three-part payment plan:
A deposit of $999 is required upon reservation to confirm your suite. From there, two instalments of $1,700 are due the first on 1 February 2026, and the final on 1 March 2026. This approach ensures your booking is confirmed while giving you the flexibility to pay over time, so you can simply look forward to the experience ahead.
We keep it intimate - a maximum of 16 guests. Designed as a small group experience, you’ll have plenty of connection, conversation, and space to savour.
We have wet-weather plans in place, including fresh oysters to taste and a shucking course with Martin.
Cancellation policy: Because this experience is limited to only eight couples, each booking represents a significant commitment.
For this reason, deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 60 days in advance will receive a refund of any payments, less the deposit.
Within 60 days, all payments, including the deposit, will be non-refundable. We also understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and will review cancellations on a case-by-case basis.

We’ve organised bubbles on arrival, wine pairings with dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, and a glass of wine to enjoy during the cooking masterclass. You’ll also be treated to a curated wine match during the Sunday lunch. Non-alcoholic options will also be available throughout.
Due to the nature of the event, we cannot accommodate for vegetarians or vegans. If you have any other specific dietary requirements, please speak with our Expedition Director before booking to ensure we can accommodate your request.
